Russ Rollins

Russ Ray Rollins, a nationally recognized radio personality and award-winning host of “Monsters in the Morning”, turned personal tragedy into a mission to save lives. When his beloved sister, Karla Kay Poulalion, was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, Russ was already an advocate for early detection, endorsing Life Imaging FLA. At Karla’s request, he shared her story on his radio show, after Karla’s story was shared, she inspired hundreds to seek early screenings. These screenings identified cancer in dozens of people, in just two weeks, potentially saving lives , a result that brought Karla great comfort.

Before her untimely passing, Karla asked Russ to continue advocating for early detection, and he made her a loving promise: to establish a foundation in her name to carry on her legacy. Partnering with Karla’s husband, Mark Poulalion, her loving best friends and her daughters, Russ founded “The Karla Kay Cancer Screening Fund”. This nonprofit organization is a labor of love dedicated to providing access to life-saving early cancer screenings. Through this foundation, Russ continues to honor his sisters memory, keeping his promise to his sister, ensuring her story inspires others and helps save lives.
